"For me personally it was a very moving day. My husband is there, and it was beautiful to see all of our veterans honored by so many caring people. One of the most touching stories I heard was from one of the volunteers. She said as she placed a rose on the marker and read the name, service, history and age, that that person became real to her, not just the head stone of an unknown soldier. Thanks again"- Judy Heanel

The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation honors those who have served our country. Thanks to the generosity of private, public, and corporate sponsors, the Foundation works with local organizers and volunteers to place roses and other flowers on gravesites at National, Veterans, and Local cemeteries across the United States. See our website for more details. www.memorialdayflowers.org

The Foundation started as a dream in 2011 from patriots who wanted to honor those who served our nation. For 2018 over 3,000 volunteers will place flowers at 28 cemeteries.
